Stovetop Reheating
Thaw the gumbo in the refrigerator or loosen it from the container by rinsing the outside with hot water. Empty the contents into a pot and heat over medium heat for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F. For the best quality, only heat the portion you plan to eat.
Microwave Reheating
Heat the gumbo in two-minute increments, stirring in between. Please note that microwaving can overcook seafood and may result in an unpleasant aroma.

Please allow the leftover gumbo to cool to room temperature before refrigerating. For the best quality, consume it within 3–4 days.
Alternatively, this gumbo freezes exceptionally well for future enjoyment. You may freeze it in the provided freezer-safe container for 2–4 months.
